Le douzième chapitre du roman A Visit from the Goon Squad de Jennifer Egan, « Great Rock and Roll Pauses by Alison Blake », a été créé à l’aide de PowerPoint. L’autrice l’a mis en ligne dans une version autonome, suggérant qu’il peut être lu indépendamment du livre. Cet article examine l’utilisation de ce logiciel, généralement destiné à un usage professionnel ou éducatif, pour raconter une histoire. Il cherche à déterminer le potentiel narratif de cette approche.

Abstract
The twelfth chapter of Jennifer Egan’s novel A Visit from the Goon Squad, “Great Rock and Roll Pauses by Alison Blake”, was created using PowerPoint. The author has put it online in a stand-alone version, suggesting that it can be read independently of the book. This article examines the use of this software, generally intended for professional or educational use, to tell a story. It seeks to determine the narrative potential of this approach.
