Cet article aborde la question de la réinsertion professionnelle des ex-patients psychiatriques. Il tente de rendre compte d'une recherche établissant le profil social, psychiatrique et professionnel d'un échantillon de la population sortante de trois hôpitaux psychiatriques. Les résultats permettent de constater un phénomène de retrait du marché du travail suite à l'hospitalisation. Ce phénomène se produit de façon différenciée: le nombre d'hospitalisation et l'histoire professionnelle antérieure en sont des facteurs déterminants. En résumé on peut dire qu'il affecte les plus fragiles.
Summary
This paper deals with the issue of the professional réintégration of ex-psychiatric patients. It attempts to give an account of a research project which established the social, psychiatric, and professional profile of a sample populations released from three psychiatric hospitals. The findings point toward a phenomenon of withdrawal from the labor force after hospitalization. This phenomenon occurs in a differentiated fashion: the number of hospitalizations and the previous professional history are the determining factors. To sum up, we may say that those affected by this phenomenon are the most fragile.

Este artículo aborda el punto de la reinserción profesional de los ex-pacientes psiquiátricos. Presenta una investigación que establece el perfil social, psiquiátrico y profesional de una muestra estadística de la población saliente de tres hospitales psiquiátricos. Los resultados permiten constatar un fenómeno de retiro del mercado de trabajo que sigue a una hospitalisación. Este fenómeno se produce de manera differenciada: el número de hospitalizaciones y la historia profesional anterior son factores determinantes. En resumen se puede decir que él afecta a los más frágiles.
