Résumé
L’art-thérapie pratiquée à La rue des Femmes se distingue comme intervention innovante pour adresser les traumatismes complexes des femmes en situation d’itinérance. Fondée sur des entretiens avec une art-thérapeute et deux participantes, cette étude révèle cinq axes fondamentaux : la priorisation du rapport à soi, l’utilisation des médiums artistiques pour transformer les expériences traumatiques, une posture thérapeutique adaptée au rythme individuel, l’importance d’une temporalité longue dans le processus thérapeutique et la dimension collective du travail en groupe. Ces éléments montrent l’efficacité de l’art-thérapie pour transformer symboliquement les vécus douloureux et soutenir la reconstruction et la résilience psychique des femmes vulnérabilisées.

Abstract
The art therapy practiced at La rue des Femmes stands out as an innovative intervention targeting complex traumas of women experiencing homelessness. Based on interviews with an art therapist and two participants, this study highlights five fundamental axes: prioritizing self-relationship, using artistic mediums to transform trauma, a therapeutic posture adapted to individual rhythms, the importance of extended temporality in healing, and the collective dimension of group work. These elements demonstrate art therapy’s effectiveness in symbolically transforming painful experiences, facilitating psychological reconstruction. This research underscores art therapy’s role in supporting resilience and recovery among vulnerable women who experienced homelessness.
