Résumé

Cet article explore l’impact thérapeutique de la médiation par l’argile sur des femmes victimes de violences extrêmes. À travers une étude de cas qualitative sur quatre participantes, il examine comment l’argile, combinée à un cadre groupal, favorise la symbolisation des traumatismes, la diminution des symptômes psychosomatiques et la reconstruction identitaire. Les créations en argile traduisent une transition de la fragmentation psychique à une réorganisation interne. Le cadre groupal soutient la réaffiliation sociale et la mise en récit collective. Ces résultats confirment l’efficacité du dispositif dans les contextes humanitaires.

Abstract

This article explores the therapeutic impact of clay mediation on women survivors of extreme violence. Through a qualitative case study of four participants, it examines how clay, combined with a group framework, facilitates trauma symbolization, reduction of psychosomatic symptoms, and identity reconstruction. The clay creations reflect a transition from psychic fragmentation to internal reorganization. The group framework fosters social reaffiliation and collective narrative building. These findings confirm the effectiveness of the approach in humanitarian contexts.
