Résumé
Cet article s’intéresse aux méthodes qu’utilisent les formations de développement personnel pour faciliter l’adoption de leurs enseignements chez leurs participants dans une période restreinte. Pour ce faire, une attention est portée sur la « connivence » développée dans ces formations et l’accent placé sur l’expérience. La connivence est un effort mis en place dans le cadre de la formation ou de la part des formateurs afin de convaincre que leurs enseignements sont plausibles et efficaces. Il sera discuté dans cet article de la mise en place de cette connivence à partir du témoignage des autres participants. Un regard sera aussi porté sur l’approche expérientielle de ces formations, visant une meilleure réception de leur enseignement tout en laissant la liberté aux participants de choisir, à travers une sélection d’outils de développement personnel, ce qui leur semble utile et pertinent.

Abstract
This article focuses on the methods used by self-help training courses to facilitate the adoption of their teachings among their participants within a limited period. To do this, attention is paid to the “connivance” developed in these training courses and the emphasis placed on experience. Connivance is an effort made within the training context, or on the part of the facilitators, to convince participants that the teachings are plausible and effective. This article will discuss the development of this connivance based on the testimony of other participants. A look will also be taken at the experiential approach of these training courses, which aims for a stronger integration of their teachings while giving participants the freedom, through a selection of self-help tools, to choose what seems useful and relevant to them.
