Cet article étudie les narratifs stratégiques utilisés par les pays postsoviétiques lors des débats ouverts du Conseil de sécurité sur les Femmes, la Paix et la Sécurité (FPS). À partir de l’analyse de 117 communiqués diplomatiques lus dans ces espaces multilatéraux, nous examinons comment ces pays expriment leur identité et leurs intérêts nationaux tout en contribuant activement à l’Agenda FPS mondialement. Nous soutenons que si les narratifs stratégiques systémiques et thématiques sont similaires entre ces pays, les narratifs nationaux démontrent leurs spécificités. Cela est particulièrement visible lorsque les différentes dimensions de l’agenda sont liées aux contextes nationaux, sachant que de nombreux pays postsoviétiques connaissent des conflits prolongés sur leur territoire. Dans l’ensemble, l’article contribue aux travaux sur l’Agenda FPS et ouvre de nouvelles voies de recherche en montrant la pertinence théorique et empirique d’accorder plus d’attention à ces pays qui sont aussi des acteurs importants de l’architecture normative mondiale de l’Agenda FPS.

Abstract
This paper investigates the strategic narratives (SN) used by post-Soviet countries in the Security Council Open Debates on Women, Peace and Security (WPS). Drawing on the analysis of 117 diplomatic statements read in these multilateral spaces, I examine how these countries manifest their identities and national interests while actively contributing to the global WPS framework. I argue that while system and issue SN are similar among these countries, the national SN show their specificities. This is highly visible when the different dimensions of the agenda are linked to the national contexts, knowing that many of the post-Soviet countries have protracted conflicts on their territory. Overall, the paper contributes to the WPS literature and opens news ways of research by showing the theoretical and empirical relevance to pay more attention to these countries as they are significant actors in the global WPS normative architecture.
