Destiné à relancer les études sur l’effort de guerre féminin, cet article poursuit l’objectif de montrer comment les Canadiennes françaises restées au pays se sont insérées dans un réseau d’entraide transnational par l’effort de guerre alimentaire entre 1941 et 1944. Par cette relecture de leur contribution au prisme d’une approche transnationale, il est possible de mettre en évidence que ces femmes, en participant à la circulation de colis alimentaires et de stratégies pour maintenir la production agricole, s’insèrent à la fois dans un espace socioéconomique et une communauté féminine où s’expriment des liens de solidarité qui dépassent les limites de leur foyer.

Abstract
This article aims to enliven studies on women’s contributions to war efforts. It shed light on the ways in which French Canadian women who remained at home joined, through their contribution to the food war effort, a transnational support network. From 1941 to 1944, they contributed to the circulation of food parcels and participated in initiatives to maintain agricultural production. By reinterpreting such wartime contribution through a transnational lens, these women can be situated within a socioeconomic space and a female community where bonds of solidarity that transcend the confines of the household were articulated.
