Abstract
The research objective is to study the development of the Business Model (BM) of an Early and Rapidly Internationalizing Firm (ERIF) in order to contribute to the understanding of the creation and internationalization process of these companies. The text relies on the BM theory developed byVerstraete et Jouison-Laffitte (2009, 2011) and uses the concept as a tool for the reading of an exploratory case. The results show that the approach by the BM is a relevant way for interpreting the entrepreneurial phenomena, thanks to a conventionalist perspective that complements the main approaches mobilized in the literature.
