Résumé
Cet article propose une vision dynamique du processus d'adoption des nouvelles technologies de production. La recherche entreprise auprès de 116 PME démontre l'importance des éléments de la base technologique qui agissent comme catalyseurs pour atteindre un niveau d'automatisation plus élevé. Les résultats de cette recherche permettent de mieux cerner le rôle des différentes compétences organisationnelles et font ressortir tout particulièrement l'importance des compétences acquises par les cols bleus.
Abstract
A dynamic vision of the adoption process of advanced production technologies is proposed. The research conducted in 116 SMEs indicates the importance of elements of a firm's technological base as catalysts for further technology adoption. Results particularly stress the influence of the technological capabilities of the blue collar workers as a dominant factor in the technology adoption decisions.

En este artículo se propone una visión dinámica del proceso de adopción de las nuevas tecnologías de producción. La investigación llevada a cabo en 116 empresas pequeñias y medianas demuestra la importancia de los elementos de la base tecnológica que operan como catalizadores para alcanzar un nivel más elevado de automatización. Los resultados de esta investigación permiten delimitar el papel de las diferentes competencias organizacionales y hacen resaltar muy particularmento la importancia de las tecnologías adquiridas por los trabajadores.
