Cet article vise à initier le lectorat francophone au programme de recherche de la sociologie historique internationale (shi) et à la théorie du développement inégal et combiné (dic) comme tentative de synthèse transdisciplinaire entre sociologie historique et Relations internationales (ri). Cette tentative sera analysée à travers l’étude des révolutions, en tant qu’objet de recherche emblématique de la fracture épistémique entre les deux disciplines. Nous déconstruirons le projet transdisciplinaire du dic pour démontrer comment celui-ci ne répond pas aux objectifs initiaux de la shi en termes de sociologisation et d’historicisation des RI. Nous tenterons par la suite de réactiver ces objectifs et de reformuler la relation interdisciplinaire entre sociologie et ri au moyen d’une réflexion épistémologique et historiciste prenant comme base la théorie des relations sociales de propriété (trsp).

Abstract
This paper aims to initiate francophone readers to the research program of international historical sociology (ihs) and to the theory of uneven and combined development (ucd) as an attempt at a transdisciplinary synthesis between historical sociology and international relations (ir). This attempt will be analyzed through the study of revolutions as a research object representative of the epistemic break between the two disciplines. We will deconstruct the transdisciplinary project of ucd in order to show how it falls short of the initial objectives of ihs in terms of the sociologization and historicization of ir. We will then try to reactivate these objectives and reformulate the interdisciplinary relation between sociology and international relations through a historicist and epistemological reflection on the basis of the theory of social property relations.

Resumen
Este artículo busca iniciar al lector francoparlante en el programa de investigación de la sociología histórica internacional (SHI) y en la teoría del desarrollo desigual y combinado (DDC) como tentativa de síntesis transdisciplinaria entre la sociología y las relaciones internacionales (RI). Esta tentativa es analizada a través del estudio de las revoluciones, en tanto objeto emblemático de la fractura epistémica entre las dos disciplinas. Deconstruiremos el proyecto transdisciplinario de DDC para demostrar cómo abandona sus objetivos iniciales de la SHI en términos de sociologización e historización de las RI. Luego, intentaremos reactivar los objetivos y reformular la relación interdisciplinaria entre sociología y RI a través de una reflexión epistemológica historicista que parte de la teoría de las relaciones sociales de propiedad.
