Abstract
I wrote this piece when I lived in Saskatchewan and visited my parents in Halifax. With the increasing distribution of GMO fruits and vegetables in megastores, this story brings us back to the most important source of food in Canada: the local small farming community.

J’ai écrit ceci quand je vivais en Saskatchewan et que j’ai visité mes parents à Halifax. Vu l’augmentation de la distribution de fruits et légumes OGM dans les supermarchés, cette histoire nous ramène à la source de nourriture la plus importante au Canada : les petites communautés agricoles locales.
