RÉSUMÉ
En tant que procédé rhétorique, la prolepse consiste pour un locuteur L à prévenir les objections éventuelles à la thèse qu’il soutient. Cette anticipation se base sur un schéma prototypique de l’argumentation et toute l’efficacité du procédé tient non pas tant à une confrontation sur le plan des contenus sémantiques comme à la mise en place de rôles sur le plan de la négociation argumentative.
ABSTRACT
The proleptical construction is a rhetorical process generally defined as a way for the speaker to prevent a counterargument to the thesis he is supporting. Such an anticipation is based on a prototypical schema of argumentation. This schema enables us to explain the effect of canceling an hypothetical objection: it involves not only semantical contents of the argument but roles in argumentation.
