Abstracts
Résumé
Cet article présente des résultats tirés d’une étude de cas sur le processus de conceptualisation et de mise en oeuvre d’un tribunal à caractère communautaire à la cour municipale de la Ville de Québec. L’analyse montre comment la Ville tente, par la création de ce nouveau tribunal, de (se) soigner en inscrivant son action dans une trame de « sécurisation » et de « revitalisation » urbaines. Le concept de Ville thérapeutique est développé pour examiner comment ce style de gouvernance municipale remodèle le contrôle social de la déviance.

Abstract
This article presents results from a case study on the conceptualization and implementation of a community court under municipal jurisdiction in Quebec City. Analysis uncovers how the push for a community court is embedded in an agenda of urban « securitization » and « revitalization. » The concept of the Therapeutic City is developed to examine how this style of municipal governance reshapes social control of deviance.
