À partir de la généalogie et de l’explicitation de la formule de la note 6 « transformer vieux ennemis en loyaux adversaires », cet article se propose de mettre en évidence la tension, plutôt que la dialectique, entre l’action et le verbe qui structure les Feuillets d’Hypnos – comme elle structurait déjà le recueil précédent, Seuls demeurent – et qui définit ce qu’on peut appeler la « poéthique » de René Char.

Abstract

Based on the genealogy and the clarification of the turn of phrase in note 6 “transforming old enemies into loyal adversaries”, this article proposes to highlight the tension, rather than the dialectic, between the action and the language that structures the Feuillets d’Hypnos (Leaves of Hypnos) – as it already structured the previous collection of poems, Seuls demeurent – and that defines what can be called René Char’s “poethics.”
