Bien que l’on connaisse la proéminence des idées délirantes dans la psychopathologie, notamment dans la schizophrénie, leur étiologie n’est pas encore clairement comprise. Trois approches théoriques sont proposées dans la littérature pour expliquer la formation et le maintien des idées délirantes, mais aucune ne fait consensus. L’objectif de cet article est de montrer comment la notion de contextualisation, au centre du paradigme bayésien, pourrait fournir un cadre commun aux diverses hypothèses précédemment décrites.

Abstract

Although the prominence of delusional ideas are known in psychopathology, notably in schizophrenia, their etiology is still not clearly understood. Three theoretical approaches are proposed in the literature to explain the formation and maintenance of delusional ideas, yet none of these approaches makes consensus. The objective of this article is to show how the notion of contextualization, at the centre of the Bayesian paradigm, could provide a common framework for the various hypotheses described earlier.

Aunque se conozca la prominencia de las ideas delirantes en psicopatología, particularmente en la esquizofrenia, su etiología aún no se comprende claramente. En la literatura se proponen tres enfoques teóricos para explicar la formación y el mantenimiento de las ideas delirantes, pero ninguna logra el consenso. El objetivo de este artículo es mostrar la forma en que la noción de contextualización, localizada en el centro del paradigma bayesiano, podría proporcionar un marco común a las diversas hipótesis descritas anteriormente.

Apesar de se conhecer a proeminência das idéias delirantes na psicopatologia, principalmente na esquizofrenia, sua etiologia não é ainda claramente compreendida. Três abordagens teóricas são propostas na literatura para explicar a formação e a continuação das idéias delirantes, mas nenhuma é consensual. O objetivo deste artigo é mostrar como a noção de contextualização, dentro do paradigma bayesiano, poderia fornecer um quadro comum às diversas hipóteses anteriormente descritas.
