Épistémologie éthique dans un espace interprétatif partagé et négocié. Le cas d'une recherche conjointe québéco-française A Quebec-French joint research on an ethical epistemology in a shared and negotiated interpretative space

Résumé

Cet article propose une analyse à partir d’une participation observante au sein d’une équipe de recherche québéco-française associant des chercheurs et des formateurs/chercheurs en travail social qui construisent des rapports différents à l’objet de la recherche. La dynamique ainsi présentée, dans une perspective de méta-analyse se présente comme un cas particulier de recherche conjointe multiréférentielle. Elle fait l’objet de débats entre les co-chercheurs et donne lieu à des convergences ou des compromis dans le cadre d’un espace interprétatif partagé et négocié. L’article permet de dégager quelques pistes d’analyse d’ordre éthique et politique en termes de reconnaissance d’autrui et de ses savoirs, ainsi que sur le plan collectif d’un champ social étudié. Ainsi, il situe cette recherche dans les problématiques des rapports entre les mondes de la recherche et du travail social.

Abstract

This article proposes an analysis based on an observant participation within a Quebec-French research team linking researchers and trainers in social work who establish different relationships or approaches to the object of the research. The dynamic thus presented, from a meta-analytical perspective, presents itself as a special case of multi-referential joint research. It is the subject of debate between co-researchers and gives rise to convergences or compromises within the framework of a shared and negotiated interpretive space. The article allows to identify some approaches to ethical and political analyses in terms of the recognition of the other and their knowledge as well as in terms of the collective level of a social field studied. Thus, it contextualizes this research within the set of problems concerning the relationships between the academic research community on the one hand and that of social work of the other.
