Brittany Luby’s Dammed: The Politics of Loss and Survival in Anishinaabe Territory (University of Manitoba Press, 2020) was awarded the prize for Best Scholarly Book in Canadian History by the Canadian Historical Association in 2021. The contributors to this discussion met virtually in the summer of 2022 and as part of the annual meeting of the CHA.
