Résumé
La collaboration avec les personnes patientes partenaires (PP) en santé mentale s’impose aujourd’hui comme une pratique incontournable, encouragée par les politiques publiques et les approches de recherche participative. Inspirée des principes de science ouverte, l’Alliance en santé mentale du Québec favorise cette implication au sein du Centre de recherche de l’Institut universitaire en santé mentale de Montréal (CR-IUSMM). À l’occasion de son anniversaire, un comité de PP a mené une série d’entrevues avec des personnes clés impliquées en recherche afin d’explorer les expériences, les défis et les perspectives du partenariat patient. Ce texte met en lumière les transformations et les apprentissages issus de ces collaborations.

Abstract
Collaboration with patient partners (PP) in mental health has become an essential practice, spurred by public policy and participatory research methods. Alliance en Santé Mentale du Québec, inspired by the principles of open science, actively promotes this involvement within the Centre de recherche de l’Institut universitaire en santé mentale de Montréal (CR-IUSMM). To mark the occasion of the CR-IUSMM’s 30th anniversary, a committee of PPs conducted a series of interviews with key stakeholders involved with the Centre to explore their experiences, challenges, and perspectives regarding the patient-research partnership. In this article, we highlight the transformations and lessons learned from these collaborations.
