Abstract
This article presents the results of a research project aimed at assessing the impact on behaviour and communication of a social communication intervention offered to elementary school-aged children with behaviour disorders. The study was conducted using a quasi-experimental design with 15 students in the experimental group and 14 students in the control group. Mann-Whitney U tests were used to compare pragmatic abilities and behaviour before and after the intervention from data collected by parent and teacher questionnaires. Although the results are not statistically significant, some implementation data suggest that students with behaviour disorders could benefit from such an intervention to improve their social communication.
