Résumé
Le Forum des organisations non gouvernementales (ONG), parallèle à la Quatrième Conférence mondiale des Nations Unies sur les femmes à Beijing, s'est tenu à Huairou du 30 août au 8 septembre 1995. L'auteure participait à l'événement et elle en rappelle le contexte en soulignant particulièrement la présence de forces conservatrices sur les lieux des deux conférences et la mise sur pied d'un réseau international francophone.
Abstract
The NGO forum on women was held at Huairou from August 30th to September 8 1995, in parallel with the United Nationals Fourth World Conference on Women going on in Beijing. The Author was a participant at the Forum; she reviews the event, emphasizing the rise of conservatism she could sense. She also presents a new international francophone network which was formally created at Huairou.
