Résumé
Dans la région de Lanaudière, Philippe Jetté et Mélanie Boucher se sont donné la mission de transmettre aux Lanaudois et Lanaudoises le patrimoine immatériel propre au territoire. Interpellé par une approche intimiste et dynamique de la transmission, le duo propose des conférences spectacles participatives, dont leur projet Chansons et réflexions intimes, dans un salon ouvert ! lancé à l’automne 2018. Ainsi, le couple s’invite chez six familles afin d’explorer avec eux la vie familiale de la chanson de tradition orale. Unique en son genre, leur création est un essai vivant croisant le théâtre, le spectacle, la veillée traditionnelle et la médiation culturelle. L’article propose d’étudier le parcours de ces médiateurs, eux-mêmes porteurs de tradition, et cette activité novatrice qui leur a valu le prix Desjardins 2019 d’innovation culturelle dans Lanaudière.
Abstract
In the Lanaudière region, Philippe Jetté and Mélanie Boucher have taken on a mission to share the intangible culture of the area with local residents. Being advocates of a dynamic and intimate approach to cultural transmission, the duo presents participatory concerts accompanied by talks, such as the one entitled Chansons et réflexions intimes, dans un salon ouvert ! (Songs and intimate reflexions in an open space !) launched in the Fall of 2018. Each event has the couple visit six families with whom they explore family singing traditions. This is a unique creative enterprise that is part theatre, part concert, part informal social gathering, all gathered together as a cultural initiative. This article will examine the path taken by these cultural innovators and tradition bearers and will highlight the groundbreaking activities that earned them the 2019 Desjardins cultural innovation prize in the Lanaudière region.
