Résumé
Cet article relate le voyage à Tulsa qu’a fait l’auteur dans le cadre d’un congrès sur Bob Dylan, et qui l’a mené jusqu’aux archives Naipaul de l’Université de Tulsa où il a vécu une rencontre fulgurante avec la figure fantomatique de Patricia Hale. Cette dernière devient le point de départ d’une réflexion personnelle sur l’accompagnement littéraire et ses vicissitudes quand il est question de voix narratives minorées. En s’appuyant sur les photographies et les journaux de la première épouse de V.S. Naipaul, l’auteur tente ainsi de retracer sa voix dans son absence et sa réticence même, soit dans l’écriture de son mari et jusque dans la sienne qui prenait une forme autobiographique. Ce faisant, l’auteur poursuit sa réflexion sur la notion du dédicataire et la fonction de l’Idéal dans sa relation au soin, sujets déjà explorés dans ses écrits passés, et s’interroge, dès lors, sur sa propre pratique essayistique ainsi que sur l’idée d’une parole ventriloquée.

Abstract
This article relates the author’s trip to Tulsa for a Bob Dylan conference, which led him to the Naipaul archives at the University of Tulsa, where he had a dazzling encounter with the ghostly figure of Patricia Hale. The latter becomes the starting point for a personal reflection on literary accompaniment and its vicissitudes when it comes to diminished narrative voices. Drawing on the photographs and journals of V.S. Naipaul’s first wife, the author attempts to trace her voice in its absence and even its reticence, both in her husband’s writing and even in her own, which took an autobiographical form. In doing so, the author continues to reflect on the notion of the dedicatee and the function of the Ideal in his relationship to care, topics already explored in his previous writings, and thus questions his own essayistic practice as well as the idea of ventriloquized speech.

Este artículo relata el viaje del autor a Tulsa para una conferencia sobre Bob Dylan, que lo llevó a los archivos Naipaul de la Universidad de Tulsa, donde tuvo un encuentro deslumbrante con la figura fantasmal de Patricia Hale. Esta última se convierte en el punto de partida de una reflexión personal sobre el acompañamiento literario y sus vicisitudes en relación con las voces narrativas disminuidas. A partir de las fotografías y los diarios de la primera esposa de V.S. Naipaul, el autor intenta rastrear su voz en su ausencia e incluso en su reticencia, tanto en la escritura de su esposo como en la suya propia, que adoptó una forma autobiográfica. De este modo, el autor continúa su reflexión sobre la noción del destinatario y la función del Ideal en su relación con el cuidado, temas ya explorados en sus escritos anteriores, y, por lo tanto, cuestiona su propia práctica ensayística, así como la idea del discurso ventrílocuo.

摘要
本文记述了作者前往塔尔萨参加鲍勃·迪伦会议的旅程，并由此来到塔尔萨大学的奈保尔档案馆，在那里，他与帕特里夏·黑尔这位幽灵般的人物进行了一次令人眼花缭乱的邂逅。这成为他个人反思文学伴奏及其在叙事声音减弱时的变迁的起点。作者借鉴V. S. 奈保尔第一任妻子的照片和日记，试图追溯她在丈夫和她自己（以自传形式呈现）的写作中，在她缺失甚至沉默中的声音。在此过程中，作者延续了他对“受赠者”概念以及理想在与关怀的关系中的作用的思考，这些主题在他之前的写作中已经探讨过，并由此质疑了他自己的散文实践以及腹语术的概念。
