Résumé
La création d’un espace discursif mondial dans l’enseignement des Relations internationales est confrontée à trois défis majeurs : transcender l’unicité d’une discipline, surmonter les chauvinismes et intégrer les savoirs pratiques. Nous vivons dans un univers d’ordres mondiaux multiples, qui coexistent et s’interpénètrent. Il nous faut, par conséquent, approcher l’enseignement des Relations internationales de façon à comprendre et à transcender ces différences bien réelles. Nous envisageons les façons de parvenir à l’interdisciplinarité (plutôt qu’à la multidisciplinarité), nous identifions et problématisons les différentes formes de chauvinisme et nous explorons les possibilités d’intégrer les savoirs pratiques (de lier la théorie et la pratique). Cet article s’achève sur quelques recommandations dans l’espoir d’atteindre une forme critique de cosmopolitisme dans l’enseignement des Relations internationales.

Abstract
Creating a global discursive space in International Relations education faces three major challenges : transcending mono-disciplinarity, overcoming parochialism(s), and integrating practical knowledge. We live in a world of multiple, co-existing, mutually inter-penetrating world orders and therefore need an approach to International Relations education that can comprehend and transcend these very real differences. The challenges of achieving inter- (rather than multi-) disciplinarity are considered, different forms of parochialism are identified and problematized, and ways of integrating practical knowledge (linking theory and practice) are explored. The article concludes with some recommendations of ways to achieve a critical form of cosmopolitanism in International Relations education.

Resumen
La creación de un espacio global discursivo en la enseñanza de las Relaciones Internacionales implica tres grandes desafíos : trascender la mono-disciplinariedad, superar el/los provincialismo(s), e integrar el conocimiento práctico. Vivimos un mundo de órdenes múltiples, coexistentes y mutuamente interpenetrados y por ello se necesita un abordaje de las Relaciones Internacionales que comprenda y trascienda esas realidades diferentes. Se consideraron el desafío de la inter- (más que multi-) disciplinariedad, se identificaron y problematizaron diferentes formas de provincialismo, y se exploraron formas de integrar el conocimiento práctico (vinculación de teoría y práctica). Este articulo concluye con algunas recomendaciones de cómo se puede lograr un forma crítica de cosmopolitanismo en la enseñanza de las Relaciones Internacionales.
