Note biographique
Pierre Dessureault est historien de la photographie et commissaire indépendant. Il a organisé de nombreuses expositions et publié un grand nombre de catalogues et d’articles sur la photographie actuelle. Il a dirigé l’ouvrage Nordicité publié en 2010 aux Éditions J’ai VU et regroupant un ensemble de photographies d’artistes québécois, canadiens et d’Europe du Nord et d’essais de spécialistes de l’histoire de l’art et des sciences humaines.

Biographical note
Pierre Dessureault is a historian of photography and independent curator. He has organized numerous exhibitions and published a large number of catalogues and articles on contemporary photography. He was the editor of Nordicité (Éditions J’ai VU, 2010), a book that brought together photographs by Quebec, Canadian, and Northern European artists and essays by experts in art history and the human sciences.
