Abstract
This study investigates how the film Everything Everywhere All at Once (EEAAO) proposes a form of cinematic thinking on the relationship between the quantum multiverse and quantum consciousness through its cinematic language. Quantum theory introduces a number of conceptually challenging ideas, such as the Many-Worlds Interpretation (MWI), quantization, the principle of superposition, and quantum probability, which continue to invite philosophical speculation and scientific inquiry. Similarly, quantum consciousness remains an unsettled topic in modern science that deserves more interest and consideration. Acknowledging the contested and speculative nature of these concepts, this study attempts to analyze the film in an experimental and heuristic way. This work focuses on revealing how EEAAO cinematically thinks on the specified relationship. This objective is reached through a close reading analysis of the film following a structural model on the narrative of cinematic language, and through concentrating on analyzing simultaneously operating and interacting microstructural and macrostructural elements. The analysis concludes that EEAAO offers a distinctive philosophical contribution precisely because it employs cinematic language rather than verbal language to communicate its cinematic thinking on the relationship between the quantum multiverse and quantum consciousness.

Cette étude examine comment le film Everything Everywhere All at Once (EEAAO) propose une forme de pensée cinématographique portant sur la relation entre le multivers quantique et la conscience quantique à travers son langage filmique. La théorie quantique introduit un ensemble d’idées conceptuellement complexes, telles que l’interprétation des mondes multiples (IMM), la quantification, le principe de superposition et la probabilité quantique, qui continuent d’alimenter la spéculation philosophique et la recherche scientifique. De même, la conscience quantique demeure un sujet non résolu dans la science contemporaine et qui mérite davantage d’attention et de considération. Reconnaissant le caractère controversé et spéculatif de ces concepts, cette étude tente d’analyser le film de manière expérimentale et heuristique. Ce travail vise à mettre en lumière la manière dont EEAAO pense cinématographiquement la relation spécifiée. Cet objectif est atteint grâce à une analyse par lecture attentive du film fondée sur un modèle structurel du récit filmique, et en se concentrant sur l’examen des éléments microstructuraux et macrostructuraux qui opèrent et interagissent simultanément. L’analyse conclut que EEAAO offre une contribution philosophique distinctive précisément parce qu’il mobilise le langage cinématographique plutôt que le langage verbal pour communiquer sa pensée cinématographique sur la relation entre le multivers quantique et la conscience quantique.
