Résumé

L’article explore l’imaginaire du poète contemporain Salah Stétié à la lumière des termes mathématiques qui parsèment ses écrits publiés entre 1973 et 2019. Il explique et analyse principalement les figures géométriques concentrées dans quelques passages du roman poétique Lecture d’une femme (1988) et « l’équation limpide » exposée dans le recueil Le Mendiant aux mains de neige (2018). L’étude essaie ainsi d’élucider et d’interpréter l’enjeu et la valeur de ces inscriptions dans l’expérience et l’expression de l’être au monde.

Abstract

This article explores the imagination of the contemporary poet Salah Stétié in light of the mathematical terms that pepper the writings he published between 1973 and 2019. It focuses on explaining and analyzing the geometric figures concentrated in a few passages of the poetic novel Lecture d’une femme (1988) and “the limpid equation” set out in the volume Le Mendiant aux mains de neige (2018). The study thus seeks to elucidate and interpret the stake and the value of these inscriptions in the experience and the expression of the being in the world.
