« L’appel du sang » : le débat sur la restitution des enfants de disparus en Argentine post-dictatoriale
Durant la dictature en Argentine (1976-1983), quelque 30 000 personnes disparurent, y compris 500 nouveau-nés et jeunes enfants. La majorité de ces enfants ont été remis à des familles de militaires qui les ont élevés comme les leurs. Las Abuelas de la Plaza de Mayo (Les grands-mères de la Place de Mai) est un organisme humanitaire qui s’est formé dans le but de retrouver les petits-enfants disparus et de les retourner à leur famille biologique. Durant les années 1980, dans la phase formative de l’organisme, celui-ci a adopté des arguments en faveur de la restitution fondés sur l’importance des liens biologiques. Cette rhétorique est encore utilisée dans le discours de l’organisme. Cet article analyse l’argument de « l’appel du sang », et montre comment il a contribué à la recherche de justice post-dictature du groupe.

Abstract
“The Call of the Blood” : Debating the Restoration of Children of the Disappeared in Post-Dictatorship Argentina
During the military dictatorship in Argentina (1976-1983), an estimated 30,000 people disappeared, including 500 newborn infants and young children. The majority of these children were handed over to military families who raised them as their own. Las Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo (The Grandmothers of the Plaza de Mayo) is a human rights organization that was formed in order to locate their missing grandchildren and restore them to their biological families. During the formative years of the organization in the 1980s, the organization adopted arguments in favour of restitution that were based on a prioritization of biological ties. This rhetoric shapes the organization’s discourse in the present. This article will analyze their belief in the “call of the blood” as it informed the group’s post-dictatorship pursuit of justice.

« El llamado de la sangre » : el debate sobre la restitución de los niños de desaparecidos en Argentina post-dictatorial
Durante la dictadura en Argentina (1976-1983) se estima que 30,000 personas desaparecieron, incluyendo 500 recién nacidos y niños. La mayoría de esos niños fueron entregados a familias de militares quienes los criaron como si fueran suyos. Las Abuelas de la Plaza de Mayo es un organismo humanitario que se formó con el fin de relocalizar a los niños desaparecidos y retornarlos a sus familias biológicas. Durante los años 1980, en la fase formativa del organismo, éste adoptó argumentos en favor de la restitución fundada en el énfasis de los lazos biológicos. Retórica que constituye el discurso actual del organismo. Este artículo analiza dicha creencia en «el llamado de la sangre» y cómo contribuyó en el afán de justicia post-dictadura del grupo.
