Biographical note
David J. Zucker, PhD is an Independent Scholar. He is a retired rabbi whose career includes congregational life in England and the United States, as well as full-time academia and many years as a Chaplain in Long-term care. He regularly publishes in the areas of Bible, contemporary American Jewish Literature, with a subspecialty on rabbis (and women rabbis) in fiction, as well as the area of chaplaincy. Author of seven books, details are found at www.davidjzucker.org He serves on the Editorial Boards of Women in Judaism, and Biblical Theology Bulletin.
