L'auteure a vécu d'espoir durant sept ans, s'accrochant aux rares bons moments d'un fils schizophrène dans la vingtaine. Elle suggère à la psychiatrie de confier la recherche sur la schizophrénie aux biologistes et biochimistes. Elle réclame des gouvernements des sommes suffisantes pour cette recherche, sûre que, guéris, les patients fourniront un potentiel psychologique au pays, n'errant plus d'une clinique à l'autre, coûtant des sommes fabuleuses à l'état en soins.

SUMMARY

For seven years the author lived on hope, holding on to the few good moments possible with a twenty year old schizophrenic son. She proposes that psychiatry leaves the research on schizophrenia to the biologists and biochemists. For this research, she demands from the government sufficient funds, assured that the cured patients will offer the country a psychological potential since they will not wander anymore from one clinic to the other at an astronomical cost to the state.
