En tant que prévention en santé mentale, l'auteur a supervisé la relation d'aide dans plusieurs groupes d'intervenants issus de milieux divers sur une période de plusieurs années. Une conception de la relation d'aide est explicitée. Ensuite, une description succincte du travail de supervision de groupe est présentée. Si ce type de supervision paraît à ce point important à l'auteur, c'est pour qu'un plus grand nombre d'intervenants puissent mieux répondre au besoin en santé mentale de la population.

SUMMARY

In the field of preventive mental health, the author has supervised the therapeutic relationship in many groups of helping professionals from different areas over a period of several years. A concept of the therapeutic relationship is explained. Then, a precise description of the workings of a supervision group is presented. If this type of supervision appears so important to the author, it is only that a more extensive group of helping professionals can better meet the mental health needs of the population.
