Résumé
Contribuer à la formation d'intervenants en milieux de santé et en milieux sociaux, en regard du mourir, soulève toute la question de leur rapport au monde. Et le fait même, qu'ici au Québec, on se «paie le luxe» d'offrir un programme de formation sur le mourir peut être significatif des nouvelles pratiques concernant le mourir. Sont ici brièvement interrogés les usages sociaux possibles et les enjeux d'une telle formation : spécialisation du savoir prêtant lieu à l'émergence d'une nouvelle «thanatocratie de la mort» ; libération de la parole dans des modèles de comportement, etc. En réponse à ces enjeux, un paradigme : ce sont les vivants qui meurent, qui, de par leur expression, pourraient faire développer une méthode d'interrogation du mourir : dans nos relations avec ceux qui meurent, dans nos rapports avec l'institution et plus globalement, dans les types de morts générés par notre société.
SUMMARY
To contribute to the training of workers in health and social fields concerning dying raises the whole question of their relationship to the world. And the very fact that, here in Quebec, we "give ourselves the luxury" of offering a training program on dying may be significant of new practices concerning dying. The possible social uses and the stakes of such training are briefly explored here : specialization of knowledge allowing for the emergence of a new "thanatocracy of death" ; the liberating of speech into behavioural models, etc. In reply to these stakes, a paradigm : it is the living who die, who, by their communication, may give rise to the development of a method of investigation of dying : in our relations with those who die, in our relation with the institution and more globally, in the types of death which our society generates.
