Résumé
À l’été 2020, 25 jeunes âgés de 8 à 17 ans vivant avec une déficience intellectuelle ou physique ont participé au « Camp musical extra-ordinaire ». Il s’agit d’un projet de recherche étudiant l’impact d’un programme basé sur une approche informelle d’apprentissage de la musique à distance. Une approche qualitative de type participative a été utilisée. Les résultats montrent que, selon le point de vue des participants, les activités du Camp musical extra-ordinaire ont favorisé l’accès des jeunes à des activités de loisir, malgré la présence de divers obstacles. Ce faisant, le Camp musical a permis aux jeunes de faire preuve d’initiative, de développer leur autodétermination, d’exprimer leur créativité et de vivre des réussites.

Abstract
In the summer of 2020, 25 young people aged 8 to 17 and living with an intellectual or physical disability participated in the “Extra-ordinary Music Camp”. This is a research project studying the impact of a program based on an informal distance learning approach to music. For this qualitative study we used participatory research methods. The results reveal that, according to the participants’ point of view, the activities of the Extra-ordinary Music Camp facilitated the access of young people to recreational activities, despite there being various obstacles. In doing so, the Music Camp allowed the youth to show initiative, develop self-determination, express creativity, and experience successes.

Resumen
En el verano de 2020, 25 jóvenes de entre 8 y 17 años con discapacidad intelectual o física participaron en el “Campamento musical extra-ordinario”. Éste es un proyecto de investigación que estudia el impacto de un programa basado en un enfoque informal del aprendizaje de la música a distancia. Se utilizó un enfoque cualitativo de tipo participativo. Los resultados muestran que, según el punto de vista de los participantes, las actividades del Campamento musical extra-ordinario promovieron el acceso de los jóvenes a actividades de ocio, a pesar de la presencia de diversos obstáculos. De este modo, el Campamento musical permitió a los jóvenes mostrar su iniciativa, desarrollar su autodeterminación, expresar su creatividad y experimentar el éxito.

Zusammenfassung
Im Sommer 2020 nahmen 25 Jugendliche im Alter von 8 bis 17 Jahren, die mit einer geistigen oder körperlichen Behinderung leben, am “Camp musical extra-ordinaire” (Außer-gewöhnliches Musikcamp) teil. Es handelt sich um ein Forschungsprojekt, das die Auswirkungen eines Programms untersucht, das auf einem informellen Ansatz zum Erlernen von Musik über Fernlernen basiert. Ein qualitativer Ansatz des partizipatorischen Typs wurde verwendet. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass aus Sicht der Teilnehmer die Aktivitäten des außer-gewöhnliches Musikcamps den Zugang der Jugendlichen zu Freizeitaktivitäten gefördert haben, obwohl es verschiedene Hindernisse gab. Dadurch ermöglichte das Musikcamp den Jugendlichen, Initiative zu zeigen, ihre Selbstbestimmung zu entwickeln, ihre Kreativität auszudrücken und Erfolge zu erleben.
