Résumé
Cet article propose une mise en perspective critique des transformations qu’a connues récemment la gauche québécoise et de leurs impacts sur l’action politique du syndicalisme. La montée en puissance de Québec solidaire (QS) est en particulier analysée, non seulement en fonction des rapports changeants entre question sociale et question nationale, mais aussi dans le contexte de l’émergence de nouveaux partis de gauche (NPG) à l’échelle internationale. Les alliances partisanes traditionnelles du syndicalisme québécois différaient déjà de celles observées au Canada anglais, en particulier en raison de la faible implantation historique du Nouveau Parti démocratique. L’arrivée de QS vient remettre en question la proximité formelle ou informelle de plusieurs secteurs du mouvement syndical avec le Parti québécois, sans pour autant créer de nouvelle hégémonie. Tant du côté syndical que du côté partisan, les dimensions stratégiques continuent d’occuper une place prépondérante dans les rapports avec l’autre sphère, et donnent lieu à une diversité de configurations ne permettant pas pour l’instant de dégager clairement un nouveau modèle dans les rapports entre syndicats et partis politiques.

Abstract
This article offers a critical perspective on the recent transformations of the Quebec Left and their impact on the political action of trade unionism. In particular, it analyzes the rise of Québec solidaire (a political party), not only in terms of the changing relationship between the social question and the national question but also in the context of the emergence of new left-wing parties internationally. The traditional partisan alliances of Quebec unionism already differed from those observed in English Canada, particularly due to the historically weak presence of the New Democratic Party in Quebec. The arrival of Québec solidaire has challenged the formal or informal proximity of many sectors of the labour movement to the Parti Québécois, albeit without creating a new hegemony. On both the union and partisan sides, strategic dimensions continue to occupy a predominant place in their relations with the other sphere and give rise to a diversity of configurations that stand in the way, for the time being, of clearly identifying a new model for understanding the relations between unions and political parties.
