Résumé
L’article se penche sur la mobilisation initiée par le Comité d’action locale du Centre d’éducation et d’action des femmes en réaction à l’implantation de la stratégie de revitalisation urbaine intégrée (RUI) dans le quartier Sainte-Marie à Montréal. Notre étude de cas vise à démontrer que cette mobilisation permet aux femmes de revendiquer leur droit à la ville par la participation au mode de gouvernance instauré pour le secteur, leur permettant ainsi d’exposer leurs difficultés et de développer un engagement et un sentiment d’appartenance envers leur milieu de vie.

Abstract
The article focuses on the mobilization initiated by the Comité d’action locale du Centre d’éducation et d’action des femmes in response to the implementation of an integrated urban revitalization strategy (IUR) in the Sainte-Marie neighbourhood in Montreal. Our case study aims to demonstrate that this mobilization allows women to claim their right to the city by participating in the system of governance established for the sector, thereby allowing them to present their difficulties and to develop a commitment and a sense of belonging to their living environment.
