Résumé
Par l’adoption de la Loi modifiant la Loi sur la protection du territoire agricole, L.Q. 1989 chap. 7, le législateur vient d’altérer de façon substantielle la Loi sur la protection du territoire agricole.
La présente étude est consacrée aux principaux aspects de ces récentes modifications qui affectent plus particulièrement les corporations municipales. Dans un premier temps, il sera question des nouvelles règles régissant la délimitation de secteurs exclusifs et de l’impact de l’identification de ceux-ci à l’égard des corporations municipales. Par la suite, les nouvelles dispositions relatives à certaines activités agricoles seront étudiées de façon à dégager leur influence sur la réglementation municipale.
Abstract
By adopting An Act to amend the Act to Preserve Agricultural Land L.Q. 1989, chap. 7, the government has brought about substantial alterations to the Act to Preserve Agricultural Land.
This study is centred on those aspects of the recent amendments which particularly affect municipal corporations. The question dealt with initially will be the new regulations relating to the demarcation of exclusive sectors and the impact that they will have on municipal corporations. This will be followed by a discussion of the new provisions in respect to certain agricultural activities in order to estimate their influence on municipal by-laws.
