Résumé
Les difficultés émotionnelles et psychologiques des intervenants en protection de l’enfance ont fait l’objet de quelques études au cours des dernières années. Après avoir présenté les principaux modèles théoriques qui ont jusqu’ici été utilisés pour analyser ce phénomène, cet article discute de la pertinence de la contribution de la sociologie clinique et interactionniste. Cette perspective d’analyse ouvre de nouvelles avenues de recherche encore peu explorées à ce jour qui promettent d’améliorer la compréhension des difficultés vécues par les intervenants en protection de l’enfance.

Abstract
In recent years, few studies have explored the emotional difficulties of child protection workers. After presenting the main theoretical models that have been used so far to analyze this phenomenon, this article discusses the relevance of sociology’s clinical and interactionist contribution. This analytical perspective opens up new research avenues that promise to improve our understanding of the difficulties experienced by those involved in child protection services.
