RÉSUMÉ
La marche mondiale des femmes en l'an 2000 représente une première expérience de mobilisation des mouvements féministes de plus de 150 pays du monde avec des revendications proprement sociales contre la pauvreté et la violence, adressées aux États nationaux comme aux instances internationales. Pour comprendre cette mobilisation mondiale, nous avons analysé le consensus minimum sur lequel les femmes se sont entendues. Ce consensus est fortement limité par l'alliance avec des femmes d'affinités religieuses opposées à l'avortement. Pourquoi les mouvements féministes l'ont-ils accepté? De quels changements cette acceptation est-elle le signe ? Nous avons ainsi mis en évidence qu'au delà de l'action collective se trouvait un véritable projet de solidarité transnationale et d'intégration des mouvements des femmes dans une société civile internationale en construction.
ABSTRACT
The World March of Women in 2000 was a first, being the first time feminist movements from more than 150 countries had mobilised behind a set of social claims to combat poverty and violence and addressed their claims to national states as well as international bodies. In analysing this historic experience, this text focuses on the limited consensus that was constructed. The limits came from the alliance that included women from faith-based communities opposed to abortion rights. Why did feminists make such an alliance and what does it mean that it was accepted ? We observe that beyond this one instance of collective action is a real project of transnational solidarity and integration of women's movements into an international civil society being constructed.
