Biographical note
Evan McMurtry is an M.A. candidate at York University, Toronto. His current research focuses on the intersections of architecture, intellectual culture, and spirituality in Ontario and elsewhere. He holds a B.A. (Honours) from Queen’s University, Kingston, and a Master of Education degree from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, University of Toronto. He has notably worked in the museum field for over a decade, leading a variety of walking tours and developing public programming at Toronto History Museums, City of Toronto.
