Abstract
This research aims to identify the different forms of interactions of regional identity and rural creative entrepreneurs in a collective project. A theoretical framework by the territorial economy allows us to understand creation as a generic asset and the collective project as a process of specification of this asset. At the empirical level, this questioning will be invested by a case study on Corsican creation in fashion and design. The sector is currently the object of a collective project which explicitly calls for regional identity. We propose a certain number of empirical contributions, which reveal a correlation between the individual characteristics of the entrepreneurs and the forms of mobilization of regional identity, which complicates the collective project. At the theoretical level, we discuss the notion of regional identity in a structurationnist sense and enrich the literature on the characterization of rural creative entrepreneurs, in particular regarding their relationship to commercial and artistic logic.
