Biographical note
Hilary Schmidt is a PhD student at the University of Victoria and an instructional designer with the Open Learning Division at Thompson Rivers University. Her major research interests lie in the areas of equity-centred trauma- and violence-informed educational practice, complex trauma survivors as learners, gender issues in open and online learning, and open and online higher education.
