Abstract
Intra-regional student mobility has been increasing in recent years. This study aims to determine the reasons international students choose Cameroon and to assess their experiences. The survey, which involved 200 respondents, revealed that the primary reason international students are attracted to Cameroon is the opportunity to receive quality education. The results also indicated that while students had satisfactory academic experiences, they were less satisfied with the social aspect. Consequently, 89% of respondents expressed a preference to return to their home countries after completing their studies. As Cameroon is an emerging destination and a developing country, this study contributes to the understanding of different forms of student mobility.
