Note biographique
Amelia Jones est professeure et titulaire de la chaire Grierson en culture visuelle à l’Université McGill, à Montréal. Ses récentes publications s’intéressent notamment aux théories et aux histoires de la performance, de même qu’à l’art et au commissariat féministes. En 2012, elle a publié Seeing Differently: A History and Theory of Identification and the Visual Arts, ainsi que Perform Repeat Record: Live Art in History, en collaboration avec Adrian Heathfield. Material Traces: Time and the Gesture in Contemporary Art, exposition dont elle a été commissaire, a été présenté en 2013 à la galerie Leonard & Bina Ellen, à l’Université Concordia, à Montréal.

Biographical note
Amelia Jones is Professor and Grierson Chair in Visual Culture at McGill University. Her recent publications include essays on performance art histories and theories, and on feminist art and curating. In 2012 she published Seeing Differently: A History and Theory of Identification and the Visual Arts and Perform Repeat Record: Live Art in History, co-edited with Adrian Heathfield. Her exhibition Material Traces: Time and the Gesture in Contemporary Art took place in 2013 at the Leonard & Bina Ellen Art Gallery, Concordia University, in Montreal.
