Abstracts
Résumé
Cet article examine l’évolution du terrain d’action de l’humanitaire au cours des dernières décennies. L’analyse de cet espace conduit à réfléchir à l’avenir de l’acteur humanitaire dans le nouveau contexte international. En effet, la réticence de celui-ci à travailler dans un environnement non sécurisé le force à reconsidérer les principes qui ont édifié le mouvement humanitaire. La dilution de la rhétorique humanitariste et la politisation de son espace d’action sont les principaux défis qui se posent à lui. Ce contexte contraint l’acteur humanitaire à revoir son rôle et à remettre en question sa présence en zone de conflit.

Abstract
This article offers an analysis of the humanitarian space. This working area, which has significantly changed over the past decades, entails to take into account the future of the humanitarian actor within the new international context. The main challenges are the organisational spectrum which shapes this actor and dilutes the humanitarian rhetoric and principles and the politisation of the humanitarian space. In fact, the reticence of the humanitarian actor to evolve in harmonization with the new international reality required to reconsider his role and existence in conflict area.
