Résumé
Cet article porte sur l’intégration des personnes réfugiées d’expression française à Winnipeg, au Manitoba, et met en relief les différents déterminants de l’intégration de cette catégorie d’immigrants dans un contexte linguistique minoritaire. Notre recherche qualitative, basée sur des entrevues individuelles semi-dirigées auprès de 41 personnes réfugiées, fait ressortir les enjeux économiques, linguistiques et socioculturels de leur intégration. Nous avons analysé les résultats en intégrant le modèle théorique de Yosso (2005) sur le capital de richesse culturelle et l’approche théorique de l’interactionnisme. L’analyse des données révèle l’existence de nombreuses barrières liées à l’emploi ainsi qu’au statut minoritaire du français, mais aussi une prédominance de réseaux sociaux et communautaires qui facilitent l’intégration socioculturelle. L’article conclut avec quelques réflexions relatives aux problématiques d’intégration.

Abstract
This paper focuses on the integration of francophone refugees in Winnipeg, Manitoba and sheds light on the various factors of the integration of refugees in a linguistic minority context. We conducted a qualitative research relying on semi-structured interviews with 41 refugees, in order to highlight the economic, linguistic and sociocultural factors involved in the participants’ integration. We analyzed the findings according to the theoretical model of Yosso (2005) on community cultural wealth, as well as according to the theoretical orientation of interactionism. Data analysis revealed the existence of many barriers linked to employment and to the minority status of the French language, but also the predominance of social and community networks that support sociocultural integration. The paper concludes with some reflections regarding problematics around integration.
