Résumé
L’Assemblée nationale du Québec a adopté un cadre de gouvernance de l’information pour préserver et rendre accessible les ressources informationnelles. Ce cadre vise l’efficience organisationnelle, la transparence, l’innovation et la collaboration. Amorcé en 2021, le projet s’est concrétisé en 2023.
L’adoption du cadre de gouvernance de l’information a été perçue comme un acte fort, reconnaissant l’information comme un actif stratégique. La gouvernance de l’information est vitale pour le bon fonctionnement et l’efficacité des institutions parlementaires ; elle définit les paramètres de la responsabilité et confère une légitimité aux yeux de la société civile. La réussite de sa mise en oeuvre reposera sur la collaboration, la transparence et l’engagement de tous, tout en tenant compte des nouvelles réalités technologiques.
L’article souligne l’importance de la gouvernance de l’information dans les parlements et son évolution continue nécessitant la collaboration des parties prenantes.
Abstract
The National Assembly of Québec has adopted an information governance framework to preserve and make accessible its information resources. The framework aims to promote organizational efficiency, transparency, innovation, and collaboration. Initiated in 2021, the project came to fruition in 2023.
The adoption of the information governance framework was seen as a powerful act, recognizing information as a strategic asset. Information governance is vital for the proper functioning and effectiveness of parliamentary institutions ; it defines the parameters of accountability and confers legitimacy in the eyes of civil society. Its successful implementation will depend on collaboration, transparency, and commitment on the part of all, while taking account of the new technological realities.
The article highlights the importance of information governance in parliaments and its ongoing evolution, which requires the collaboration of all stakeholders.
