Note biographique
Alexis Lussier est professeur au département d’études littéraires de l’UQAM et chercheur à FIGURA, centre de recherche sur le texte et l’imaginaire. Il enseigne la littérature moderne et contemporaine, la psychanalyse et les fonctions du regard dans ses rapports avec l’inconscient. Il prépare actuellement un programme de recherche sur l’imaginaire du corps criminel, notamment dans le champ ouvert par la photographie.

Biographical note
Alexis Lussier is a professor in the department of literature at UQAM and a researcher at FIGURA, Centre de recherche sur le texte et l’imaginaire. He teaches modern and contemporary literature, psychoanalysis, and the function of the gaze in its relationship with the unconscious. He is currently preparing a research project on the imaginary of the criminal body, notably in the field opened by photography.
