Résumé
La recherche en sciences de l’éducation s’est construite et développée en étant inféodé à la méthode expérimentale. Qu’en est-il aujourd’hui ? Le passage de la psychopédagogie expérimentale aux sciences de l’éducation a-t-il contribué à ouvrir le champ de la recherche en éducation à d’autres méthodes de recherche ? La question du choix de la méthode relève de la problématisation méthodologique. Il nous a semblé opportun, dans un premier temps, de préciser ce que nous entendions par cette notion, compte tenu de la polysémie qui touche chacun des mots qui la composent. Cette approche notionnelle nous conduit, dans un deuxième temps, au questionnement qu’un travail de problématisation méthodologique suscite chez le chercheur ou l’apprenti chercheur. Dans un troisième temps, les intérêts et les limites d’une formation à la problématisation méthodologique à partir d’une expérience menée dans notre département sont discutés.
Abstract
Research in education sciences originated and evolved in a context of commitment to the experimental method. Where do things stand today? Did the transition from experimental educational psychology to education sciences help open up the field of education research to other research methods? The question of method choice is an aspect of the problematization of method. I considered it appropriate to begin by specifying my understanding of this concept, given that each of the two key words in the term is polysemous. This conceptual approach next gives way to the re-examination that the problematization of method produces in researchers and novice researchers. Finally, I discuss the attractions and limitations of training in the problematization of method, based on an experiment conducted in my own department.

La investigación en ciencias de la educación se ha construído y desarrollado estando adherida al método experimental. ¿ Qué pasa hoy en día? ¿ El paso de la sicopedagogía experimental a las ciencias de la educación ha contribuído a abrir el campo de la investigación en educación a otros métodos de investigación? La elección del método depende de la problematización metodológica. Nos parece oportuno, en primer lugar, precisar lo que entendemos por esta noción, debido a la polisemia de cada palabra que la componen. Este estudio de la noción nos conduce, en segundo lugar, a las interrogantes que un trabajo de problematización metodológica suscita en los investigadores o en el aprendiz investigador. En tercer lugar, discutimos sobre los intereses y los límites de una formación a la problematización metodológica a partir de una experiencia llevada a cabo en nuestro departamento.
Zusammenfassung
Die Forschung in der Erziehungswissenschaft hat sich in Abhängigkeit von der experimentellen Methode gebildet und entwickelt. Wie steht es heute mit ihr? Hat der Übergang von der experimentellen Psychopädagogie zu den Erziehungswissenschaften dazu beigetragen, dass nun andere Forschungsmethoden ebenfalls Achtung und Gehör finden? Die Frage der Wahl der Methode untersteht der methodologischen Problematisierung. Zunächst scheint es uns im Hinblick auf die Mehrdeutigkeit der beiden Worte des Begriffes angebracht, genau zu erklären, was wir unter "Methodologischer Problematisierung" verstehen. Dieser Ansatz führt uns sodann zu der Fragestellung, die eine Beschäftigung mit methodologischer Problematisierung beim Forscher bzw. einem Neuling der Forschung hervorruft. Abschließend werden die Ergebnisse und Grenzen einer Ausbildung in methodologischer Problematisierung auf der Basis eines in unserem Fachbereich durchgeführten Versuches besprochen.
