Biographical notes
Robert Brym is a fellow of the Royal Society of Canada and emeritus professor of sociology at the University of Toronto. His main research projects have focused on the politics of intellectuals, Jewish emigration from the Soviet Union and its successor states, the second intifada, and Jews in Canada. Rhonda Lenton is president and vice-chancellor, York University, and a sociologist by training. Her areas of specialization include gender, quantitative research methods, and higher education. She previously worked at McMaster University, and is co-author (with Robert Brym and Keith Neuman) of the 2018 Survey of Jews in Canada (2019) and (with Robert Brym) “Jewish Religious Intermarriage in Canada,” Canadian Jewish Studies / Études Juives Canadiennes 30 (2020).
