Cet article analyse ce qui semble être la seule relecture par la photographie du conte Le chat botté, classique de la littérature et du patrimoine folklorique mondial. Avec Yao le chat botté, Véronique Aubry et Frank Horvat en proposent une réinterprétation au croisement des expérimentations techniques du célèbre photographe et de son goût pour la mise en scène. Ce faisant, l’article inscrit cette version du Chat botté dans le réseau des expansions hypertextuelles du conte de Perrault.

Abstract

This article analyses what appears to be the only photographic retelling of the tale of Puss in Boots, a classic of world literature and folklore. With Yao le chat botté, Véronique Aubry and Frank Horvat propose a rereading that draws on the technical experiments of the famous photographer and his taste for staging. In this way, the paper situates this version of Puss in Boots in the network of hypertextual expansions of Perrault’s tale.
