Résumé
Cet article examine le rapport entre le polar et la littérature de jeunesse à partir du roman Rapt à Bamako d’Alpha-Mandé Diarra et Marie Florence Ehret. Il vise plus précisément à montrer comment ce roman reprend certains thèmes fréquemment exploités dans le champ de la littérature de jeunesse. Nous posons l’hypothèse que Rapt à Bamako se construit, d’une part, autour de thèmes et idées principalement axées sur les rapports entre littérature et société, et, d’autre part, sur la recherche de mécanismes esthétiques ou narratifs pour rendre compte de la vie des êtres et des choses en Afrique contemporaine. Le roman emploie une série de stratégies narratives dont le but est de révéler les tensions entre l’enquête rationnelle et la pensée surnaturelle. Il présente ainsi la particularité d’introduire le lecteur dans un univers avant tout politique et dans l’imaginaire social malien où la conception du monde comprend, pour une bonne partie de la population, autant le monde visible qu’invisible.

Abstract
This article examines the relationship between crime fiction and children’s literature based on the novel Rapt à Bamako by Alpha-Mandé Diarra and Marie Florence Ehret. It aims more specifically to show how this novel takes up certain themes frequently exploited in the field of children’s literature. We hypothesize that Rapt à Bamako is built on the one hand, around themes and ideas mainly centered on the relationship between literature and society, and, on the other hand, on the search for aesthetic or narrative mechanisms to account for of the life of beings and things in contemporary Africa. The novel uses a series of narrative strategies aimed at revealing the tensions between rational inquiry and supernatural thought. It thus presents the particularity of introducing the reader into a universe that is above all political and into the Malian social imagination where the conception of the world includes, for a good part of the population, both the visible and invisible world.
